SYNOPSIS
The stronghold of Akihabara faces a new threat: a mighty goblin army! In their efforts to build the city, the adventurers of Elder Tale neglected important quests, and now they reap the consequences. With the revelation that in-game death leads to memory loss of the real world, the stakes have never been higher–and will cutthroat politics destroy tenuous new alliances before the real battle even begins?

The previous volume was basically an introduction to what is happening in this book, but entertained me more then this one that is were all the major events are taking place.
What I like of this volume is that, despite focusing a lot on battles, it leaves some spaces to the political challenges.

I really liked the development of the character of Raynesia. I think the book analyze more deeply then the movie, making her more interesting.

Despite I had already watched the anime, it was a lot of time ago and I didn’t remember that little detail about Rudy and so the turn of events really made me gasp again even while reading the novel.

I really hope that the following books will maintain this standard of quality as it is very good!
