“Queen of Hearts”‘s upgrade after Adventures in the Forgotten Realms

Hi everyone and welcome to a small update to my Oona cEDH deck: Queen of Hearts.

The title says “After Adventure in the Forgotten Realms but I have to tell you that there won’t be cards from that set in this update; it will be only a temporal reference.

The update to the deck is in fact due to the recent banning of Hullbreacher; I was running in the deck and so it needed to be changed.

+ Snapcaster Mage, – Hullbreacher
Let’s start by the ban of Hullbreacher. I already run both Notion Thief and Narset that could replace its effect and so I decided to go with a completely different card that isn’t related to it: Snapcaster Mage.
I decided to remove Snappy in the last edit because I felt like it was underperforming but now I’m taking advantage of this ban to try it again.

+ Solve the Equation, – Sea Gate Stormcaller
Sea Gate was performing well when with another card available but it was completely dead when alone. This was to be expected but after a few initial games where it shined, it started being more of a dead card than anything else. As I was using it mostly for tutoring I decided to change it for the new tutor that came out with Strixhaven, Solve the Equation.
