Eiji putting the guard to sleep like that seems like one of those scenes of the spy movies!
One of the creepiest frames I ever seen is probably the one we get with Kyouka’s eyes wide open when Eiji is putting the knife to her throat. It really got me chills!
And things start to get even creepier when everything blacks out! With Eiji that seems to be back to his timid self in the hospital. The thing that really made me anxious is the fact that Eiji seems oblivious of what Kyouka really did… or at least this is what I thought at the beginning of the scene for the reactions he was having and how calm it was! But instead it still seems to be 8-I.
The ending is a whole another layer added to the story that get again back more on the psychological genre!
