Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty is finally out and together with its techno vibes it also brought many new cards to change our decks.
With the coming of the term “Modified” that cares about creatures with Auras, Equipments or Counters, I was expecting for some cards to find some space in my Hallar deck. Most of the new cards however are outclassed but some of the older ones already present in the deck; still some of the new ones found a place in it!

+ Roaring Earth, – Jiang Yanggu, Wildcrafter
Roaring Earth is basically a landfall effect that puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature or a Vehicle. I like that it costs two mana as it opens up plays like casting Hallar and, the turn right after, play Roaring Earth, do the land drop and maybe follow up with Farseek or Three Visits, putting two counters on our Commander.
Jiang Yanggu was basically there only as a +1/+1 counter stash that, however, could be easily removed; the mana ability rarely came handy and so I decided to swap him out for this new card.
+ Boseiju, Who Endures, – Forest
A land with no downsides that also acts as a removal for Enchantments, non-basic Lands or Artifacts! Did I really have to say why I immediately put it in the deck?
Man, Roaring Earth looks great. If I ever update my jund lands matter deck that will definitely go in.
