“Hammering the Spirits”‘s update after Phyrexia: All Will Be One

Phyrexia: All Will Be One with the return to New Phyrexia also brought powerful cards for many different decks!

My Hofri deck got two new cards and I will discuss here which are them and what got removed for them.

You can find the previous post about this deck by clicking here.

While by clicking here you can find the updated decklist.

+ Mondrak, Glory Dominus, – Molten Primordial
The deck already runs Anointed Procession and loves having it on the field and so having a second copy of it in the form of Mondrak is amazing. Mondrak can also act as a sac outlet thanks to its other abilities. Mondrak is also harder to remove than the Procession thanks to the Indestructibility Counter and the fact that we can bring it back with Hofri.
To make space for it I decided to remove the Molten Primordial as it didn’t feel well in my recent tests as a steal effect.

+ Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, – Chancellor of the Forge
What we said before for the Procession and Mondrak is identical for Panharmonicon and the new Elesh Norn. Chancellor of the Forge is the one that was removed to make space for it: the huge amount of tokens it was able to make were nice but they were rarely enough to win the game.

That’s all for this update! But stay tuned as a Primer on Hofri is coming soon!
